ARKANSAS VOTER POWER HUB

Don't let the maps decide.
Arkansas, know the rules before you vote.

Arkansas has NO online voter registration — you register by mail or in person, and the deadline is a full 30 days out. Workers in Little Rock, Fort Smith, Fayetteville, Jonesboro, and Pine Bluff need to move early. This page hands every union member the tools to register, get a valid photo ID, vote early Oct 19 – Nov 2, and protect the vote.

DO IT NOW · TAKES 60 SECONDS

Three things every Arkansas voter must verify.

Don't show up Election Day and find out you're not on the rolls. Use the official state tools below — free, no signup, no email harvest.

STEP 1

Am I Registered?

Check the official Arkansas voter database. Confirm your name, address, precinct, and active status in under 60 seconds.

VoterView — check registration & polling place

Not registered? Voter Registration Info — AR (mail / in person)

STEP 2

What District Am I In?

Arkansas redrew its maps. Find your US Congressional, state legislative, and local districts before Election Day.

STEP 3

How Do I Vote in AR?

Arkansas rules: registration deadline, voter ID, early voting, absentee, polling-place lookup — explained in plain English below. No legal jargon.

THE REDISTRICTING

The maps changed.
Your district probably did too.

Arkansas's 2021 congressional map split Pulaski County — home of Little Rock — across three different congressional districts, a change that was challenged in court and remains in effect. Legislative lines were redrawn by the Board of Apportionment. If you live in central Arkansas especially, verify your congressional and legislative districts before you vote.

Knowing your district = knowing who represents you = knowing who to call when your local or your community needs an answer.

PLAIN ENGLISH

How to vote in Arkansas

The rules every AR voter must know — short, accurate, sourced from the Arkansas elections office. Bring this to your next union meeting.

Registration deadline — no online registration

You must register at least 30 days before an election in Arkansas. For the November 3, 2026 general election the deadline is October 5, 2026. Arkansas has NO online registration and NO same-day registration — register by mail or in person at your county clerk, a revenue office, or a public library.

Voter ID — required at the polls

Arkansas requires a government-issued photo ID showing your name and photograph, not expired more than 4 years. Accepted: AR driver's license or state ID, US passport, military ID, concealed-handgun license, or a FREE voter verification card.

Early voting — Oct 19 to Nov 2

Arkansas offers in-person EARLY VOTING starting 15 days before the general: October 19, 2026. Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-6pm, Saturdays 10am-4pm, ending 5pm on Monday, November 2. Any registered voter can early-vote — no excuse required.

Absentee (by-mail) ballot — excuse required

Arkansas requires an excuse: unavoidably absent on Election Day, illness or physical disability, religious observance, uniformed services/merchant marine, or temporarily living outside the US. Mail/electronic applications must be RECEIVED by Oct 27 (7 days out); in-person applications by Friday, Oct 30.

Free voter verification card

If you don't have an accepted photo ID, get a FREE voter verification card from your county clerk's office. Bring documentation of who you are.

Provisional ballot

If a poll worker says you're not on the rolls — DO NOT LEAVE. Ask for a PROVISIONAL BALLOT. If it's an ID issue, you can cure it by showing ID to the county clerk by NOON on the Monday after the election. Call 866-OUR-VOTE for help.
