Labor at the TableBuilding a coalition of unions and communities to bring historic federal infrastructure and energy funding home to Tennessee workers.
Labor at the Table builds a coalition of unions and communities in Tennessee — organized to leverage federal, state, and local energy, transportation, manufacturing, and technology infrastructure spending, including the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) and the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). By connecting stakeholders into a statewide network and developing local strategic partnerships, LATT helps Tennessee workers and communities access this historic funding together.
Bridging historic divides and building relationships between community-based organizations and labor so workers help shape Tennessee's future.
Ensuring federal funding directly benefits impacted communities and expands workers' power by respecting the right to organize and belong to a union.
Making communities active participants in shaping the energy projects developed in Tennessee during the energy transition.
Expanding the capacity and power of the coalition through lasting, transformational partnerships between stakeholder organizations.
A transformed Tennessee with a just economy that works for everyone — a diverse fabric of resilient, sustainable communities powered by renewable energy and connected by equitable infrastructure. Formerly underserved communities become home to workers empowered by training, apprenticeship, and union membership, building new pathways to careers in emerging industries.
Labor at the Table's statewide coalition work pairs naturally with Labor Education's mission across Tennessee. As historic federal dollars flow into energy and infrastructure, LATT and the labor movement stand together to ensure those projects are union, equitable, and built by and for Tennessee workers.
