Trainer / Leader Track
As a trainer and leader, you will speak at meetings, rallies, and public events. Effective public speaking amplifies your message.
• Know your key message — what's the ONE thing you want people to remember?
• Structure your talk: Opening hook → Main points → Call to action
• Practice out loud — not just in your head
• Time yourself
• Speak slowly and clearly
• Make eye contact with different people in the audience
• Use pauses for emphasis — silence is powerful
• Vary your tone and volume
• Use gestures naturally
• Stand with confidence — feet shoulder-width apart
• Start with a story or question that relates to their experience
• Use 'we' language — you're part of the struggle too
• Be authentic — people connect with real, honest speakers
• End with a clear call to action — what should they DO next?
