Building LGBTQIA+ worker power in our jobs, unions, and communities. The AFL-CIO constituency group representing every queer worker in every industry — from Stonewall to the picket line.
Pride At Work is the AFL-CIO’s constituency group for LGBTQIA+ workers and our union allies. Since 1994, Pride At Work has organized at the intersection of the labor movement and the LGBTQIA+ liberation movement — fighting for workplace protections, inclusive contracts, trans worker defense, and a labor movement that protects every queer worker on every job.
From Stonewall to the Starbucks Workers United picket line, from AFA flight attendants to UAW autoworkers — Pride At Work shows up at every Pride parade and every contract fight. Proud Union Queer.
“We refuse to allow business as usual to continue while our communities, our members, and our families are being terrorized.”
