An Afro-centric store built by Boubacar Diallo of Senegal — bringing the culture, and the healing, of the Motherland to Memphis since 2017.

Ethnik Vibes on East Shelby Drive is Memphis's other essential African goods store — founded in 2017 by owner Boubacar Diallo, a native of Senegal who built the shop to put authentic African culture within reach of Memphis families. The shelves carry shea butters and essential oils, herbs and natural wellness goods, African attire and fabrics, jewelry, and art — sourced by someone who knows exactly where it all comes from. Two Stores, One Mission: Health is Wealth

Kevin Bradshaw's kidney-stone testimony names both of Memphis's African goods stores in the same breath: 'African Art & Accessories and Ethnik Vibes both care about their customers — and we need to invest as a community into them more.' Between Whitehaven's Millbranch shop and Shelby Drive's Ethnik Vibes, working families across South Memphis and Hickory Hill have neighbors selling the natural wellness traditions — shea butter, black soap, herbs, sea moss — that keep hard-working bodies going. Supporting both keeps those doors open.
