What Your Local Gets. Free.

No dues money
No contract
No catch
Region 8 covers 63,000 active and 50,000 retired members across 17 states, the District of Columbia, and four counties of Pennsylvania. Most of those members never see a word from their local between meetings. Ten Region 8 locals already have a full page on LaborEducation.org — with working member tools, not a brochure. Any Region 8 local can have the same thing.
Eight things, the day you say yes
Its own local page. Officers, contract summary in plain English, documents, news and media — on one link members can actually find.
A member list that emails itself. Members register on the page. Post anything and every one of them gets an email. No phone tree.
Events and meeting notices. Post a membership meeting once. It hits the local page, the members' inboxes, and the Region 8 calendar.
Steward training with signup. Members sign up on the page, officers see the roster, and the course issues a certificate.
Digital grievance filing. A member files from their phone and gets a tracking number. Officers manage status. Nothing gets lost in a truck.
Surveys and polls. Ask the floor a question before bargaining instead of guessing what the floor wants.
A private members area. Officer-only documents and member-only content behind a password the local controls.
An officers' admin page. Your own people post and manage all of it. No ticket, no webmaster, no waiting on anybody.
Three steps to go live
Tell me the local number and the plant. A text message is enough. No forms, no meeting, no procurement.
The page goes up. Your officers, your units, your contract in plain English, your meeting schedule — already filled in.
Your officers get the login the same day. They post a meeting, a training or a grievance update themselves. It is their page from then on.

Already live in Region 8
Five of Region 8's eighteen states are covered. Thirteen are waiting.
And for the Region itself
One live regional calendar. Every meeting and steward training the locals post rolls up into one feed automatically. Nobody types it in.
Region-wide email list. A member signs up once and hears from all ten locals — then gets sent to their own local's page.
A scoreboard you can read. Locals live, members registered, trainings coming up. Region 8 activity on one screen.
Why I built this
I am a union president, not a vendor. Our members are on their phones and our communication is on paper — so I built the thing I wanted for my own local and opened it to everybody else. There is no invoice coming, no data sold, and no contract to sign. A local owns its page and its officers run it. The South is where this union grows or stalls, and Region 8 is the South. If one more local in Georgia or South Carolina can reach its people on Monday morning, that is the whole point.
The ask
Point one local president at the QR code.
Give me the local number and the plant and the page goes up. Officers get their admin login the same day. Nothing is asked of the Region office.
